Hi Dad,

Can't believe three years have gone since you were taken away from your family. Mum and Sarah are with me in Montreal, so we're having a drink on you tonight.

Love you and still miss you every day.

3 years ago ....

Dear Dad,

3 years have gone by......but not a day goes by when I don't think of you. Today I reflect a little more deeply of all the precious moments we had together and the fun and laughter we shared. If only I could turn back the clock 3 years ago. I miss you so much.

Today I write from Montreal.....we shall all be celebrating your memory today we will never forget you. I love you so much.

Thinking of you with love today

We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.

We thought about you yesterday,
And the days before that, too.

We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.

Now all we have is memories,
And your picture in a frame.

Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we'll never part.

God has you in His Keeping.
We have you in our Heart.

Turn back the clock.

Hi Roy.
Cant believe 3 years have gone by since you were taken from us.
Your leaving has left a gaping hole in my heart that cannot seem to be filled.
I have made my own special personal tribute slide show to try and re-live all those happy times together and i like to think that when i put it on you are watching it with me and that it brings the same warmth and love to you that it does to me.
For 10 minutes i am back in the past re-living each lovely memory.
Wish i could turn back the clock as the words in the tribute say.

Miss you mate.

Hi !

Hi Dad !

I've not been on here for some time. The truth is, my PC speakers not working could not change your music because I am not able to. Sort of got frustrated and have been putting messages for you mostly on FB. So you see, you are not forgotten. You know this anyway talk to you most days in my mind. Mainly this is the site I find it is the reality and the surrealness. How I found your number a few months ago and wanted to ring you. A big void is in my life and people tell me to move on I just wish my world was moving on with you. I think I have become good at wearing a mask when I am just dying inside some days. I was so close to you on Father's Day last week. I lay flowers where you sleep ... I just wish more times you visit in dreams so I can be with you, but you are on your journey now. When you're ready. Big hugs to a wonderful Dad. I love you so much and I miss you. I will never get over losing you. It's bloody painful but my speakers work now I will play a song. I'm still here. I'll always change your music. I think you will tell me off long overdue !! lol

Birthday Greetings

Gone are the days we used to share,
But in our hearts you are always there,
The gates of memory will never close,
We miss you more than anyone knows,
With tender love and deep regret,
We who love you will never forget.

God bless Rockin’ Roy Waterfield

My friend gave hope when life was low,
My friend was a place where I could go,
My friend was honest, my friend was true,
My friend was precious, my friend was you.
Years flow by like gentle rain,
But my heartache and my tears remain,
All I have left are my memories of you,
For today, tomorrow until my own life is through.

Happy Birthday Roy.
I miss you so much my friend.

Have only just found out about Roy's death, and am absolutely stunned. There was always a great welcome for the Stockport Teds from Roy (and the others) whenever we came over to the Sacred Heart, and I remember some great times there. A better bunch of people you couldn't hope to meet, and I only hope Roy enjoyed himself as much when he came over to Stockport. I'm sure you'll still be rockin' up there mate! A thousand stars......
